I love this recipe! I’ve made it many times now, and it’s always a hit. I even froze a couple of loaves after the glaze had dried well. Just took them out of the freezer and let them sit on the counter for a few hours, and they were perfect!

This is a delicious recipe! I took it to a dinner and served it as dessert, and people were taking thirds! I will admit I made one tiny change: I doubled the recipe and put it into three pans instead of two. Baked for 40 minutes, and they turned out absolutely beautiful!

I’ve been awake since 3:30 this morning, it’s now 4 a.m. and am reading all the comments on this post ( out of sheer BOREDOM!?) and came across this yours.
Just wondering if you’ve discovered how amazing it is to bake with a kitchen scale?
I do not use dry measure cups anymore and always use a scale. My results have been consistently wonderful and I just wanted to offer this suggestion. ☺️
