Thank you, Paula! Did you make sure to cream the butter and sugar together long enough and were your ingredients all at room temperature? If so, you could probably add another 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder to give the cupcakes a little more lift.

This is a very good vanilla cupcake recipe. I like the flavor, color, texture. I made 14 but probably could have made 13. Question: Is there any way to get these cupcakes taller without having overflow: like a “muffin top”? These are not totally flat, but my preference would be to have a dome, or a med size dome. I know, asking a lot. Thanks!

These are the most amazingly moist and perfect cupcakes! I’ve never made a better cupcake recipe! They’re literally straight from a disney movie 🧁

You can use it to make mini cupcakes, you will just need to reduce the baking time. I would guess about 10 to 14 minutes at 350°F.

I used the Ateco 827 piping tip for these cupcakes.

That should be fine! Cake flour is lighter than all-purpose flour though, so I would recommend using 1 and 1/2 cups or weigh 165 grams with a food scale.
