That sounds delicious! Yes, you can either double this recipe or use my banana cake recipe here (it’s similar, just scaled up). For two 9-inch cake layers, I’d guess baking time to be 25 to 35 minutes. I hope that helps!

I would like to make a banana layer cake with peanut butter frosting and drizzle chocolate ganache on top for my dad’s birthday!  Should I double this recipe to make a layer cake? How long do you think I would bake the layers? And I plan to use your peanut butter frosting and ganache recipes
