It is my very first time leaving a review for a recipe. My word, these cupcakes are absolutely delicious and so simple to make. I followed the recipe without changing anything. I made them for my baby shower and the whole time I was eating them (yes… I ate multiples…) I kept thinking “I can’t believe I actually made those”! And they are really easy to make pretty too. 11/10
Thank you so much for sharing this perfect recipe!

Made these for Memorial weekend parties and they were a hit. I used cake flour and they were more dense and less light but delicious and a beautiful flavor. Love the cream cheese frosting. Next time I will adjust the flour per your comment. Great recipe!

As long as it’s one that substitutes 1:1 for all-purpose flour, you shouldn’t need to make any other substitutions.

I use “Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free 1 to 1 Baking Flour”. Are there any substitutions I should make when using gluten free flour?

Made these for my neighborhood ladies wine night. They were a huge hit. They are so good! Very moist and light. Very tasty. They went nice with the different wines and everyone complimented on them. I recommend using fresh blueberries and fresh lemons for the juice and the zest. Makes a difference. Also follow the directions with the cream cheese and butter at room temperature.

Thank you to Live Well Bake Often! These are delicious.

Made these for my sisters bridal shower and my step moms bday in miniature. They have turned out amazingly both times!!! Great recipe 🙂

Hi, Jay! I imagine that you could use oil, but it will probably change the texture of the cupcakes.

I have made these cupcakes before. These are my favorite Lemon Blueberry cupcakes recipe! I am wondering, in times when one does not have butter on hand, can I substitute the butter with canola oil? Thanks for this wonderful recipe!

It’s enough to lightly frost a two layer cake. If you want a thicker layer of frosting or some to decorate with, I’d increase the recipe by half.

Would the frosting recipe be enough to cover a 8 inch 2 layer cake?
Thanks 🙂
