I’m not familiar with high altitude baking, but some readers have found this guide helpful for adjusting my recipes.

I substituted 4 egg yolks for 2 whole eggs for the pastry cream and I also used 1.5 cups of milk and .5 cup of double cream for the crème pat. Never tried Boston Cream pie before but it will now become part of my collection. Thank you

I haven’t tried it, but I think it would be fine.

I recently made it for a summer bbq and it came out perfect – we had no leftovers!! Thank you, again!

Hi, Anna! If you’re wanting to sweeten the chocolate ganache you’ve already made, you could reheat it and try to dissolve a tablespoon of sugar into it. Did you make sure to use semi-sweet chocolate too? If so, next time you make it you could either dissolve some a tablespoon of sugar into the cream before you heat it or use milk chocolate.

Thank you for the recipe. I was wondering if I could add some sugar in the chocolate ganache? I baked the pie today but the icing seemed too bitter.
