Yes, that would be okay. Just keep in mind that it won’t be as crisp once it hardens, it will have a chewier texture.

I’m really not sure why it was bland. I use refined coconut oil and I’ve also used vegetable oil in this recipe, they both taste the same to me.

I bought refined. Result was bland with Bakers semi sweet chocolate. Then used Soy Oil instead of coconut oil. Result had nice flavor. Any thoughts?

I made a double batch of this, and it came out spectacular on two batches (different flavors!) of homemade ice cream! My 5 granddaughters, ranging in age from 4 to 16 absolutely loved pouring this on their ice cream and watching it get hard almost instantaneously. This not only saves quite a bit of money because I used ingredients I already had on-hand, but it tasted so much better than that stuff you buy for $4 in a small container at the grocery store! Definitely a keeper!
