Did you make sure to let the cake roll cool completely before adding the frosting? The cake will absorb a little moisture from the frosting, but it shouldn’t be wet.

It tasted very good, not too sweet even with the frosting. For anyone making it, have patience rolling the bread because it does take some time. But it is totally worth it.

So glad everyone enjoyed the pumpkin roll, Peggy! For a carrot cake roll, you’d likely need to adjust the ingredients and just use shredded carrots.
