Are you wanting to shape the truffle filling? If so, I would add it to a mold after you mix it together and it’s still warm.

I haven’t tried it, but it may be okay to use melt some Andes mints and use them for the coating. It’s okay to use peppermint extract in the filling.

I’ve recently been trying truffle recipes, and they’ve been a hit with friends and family. I’ve been wanting to try mint. Can I substitute Andes Candies for the chocolate and peppermint extract for the filling?

I think that would be fine!

I guess mint extract is mintier than mint essence which is what I used. If anyone else uses essence, I’d suggest doubling up and using a teaspoon or slightly more depending on how minty you want them.

I love that I can quickly whip up a couple batches and bake some other things while I wait for it to chill. I’m making one peppermint batch and one coffee batch. These won’t last long, I’m sure!

It would be fine to add it to molds! I haven’t tried adding peanut butter so I’m not quite sure on that. You could definitely add some chopped nuts to it though.
