This recipe is amazing! I’ve made it countless times and it’s always a success! I use greek yogurt instead of sour cream but it turns out perfect. Lately, instead of the glaze, I serve it with cream cheese mixed with whipped cream and lemon curd, and some berries and everyone loves it!

Lemon Poppy Seed Cake – Super easy recipe and rises perfect. Not an overly rich cake flavor, but the glaze brought out the sweetness Served it at Easter dinner. Many compliments. It’s definitely on my repeat list.

Great recipe, my whole family loved it. Maybe I’m a glutton but I didn’t find the cake too sweet? The glaze is very sweet, but it’s a glaze… Will make this again!

I made this cake and my husband said it was delicious! He is not GF and is not a fan of GF baked goods. I only used 1 cup of sugar as another baker suggested.

Delicious recipe! I added 4 T poppy seeds and lowered the lemon juice to 1/4 c. Cake came out moist and delicious.
