This is my go to Shortbread Cookie recipe. I can’t even bring myself to try a different one. It is so quick and easy and results in melt in your mouth cookies that no one can resist. Thank you so much for this staple recipe!

In reply to KC. Danielle’s shortbread recipe is my go to recipe for delicious shortbread cookies. The icing is a delicious addition to the already delicious cookies. I like to use Watkins food coloring no artificial dyes for beautiful natural food based icing colors.

In reply to Danielle Otero. This recipes was a joke! All the cookies were flat as a pancake and I had to throw them out. NOT ok, with the amount of butter wasted. Better take this recipes off your list.

In reply to Shirl. Did you dip the cookie stamp in some powdered sugar each time before you pressed the cookies? I find that helps to prevent it from sticking :)
