In reply to Kyla D. No worries, Kyla! I'm glad to hear that others still enjoyed them. These are on the sweeter side, but you could remove the filling from part of the Oreos next time to cut down on the sweetness. The cream cheese doesn't give them a cheesecake flavor, it just helps bind the Oreo crumbs together so you can form them into a ball.

To be fair.
I have given these to several people and they all LOVE them.
I don’t know how to edit my review so adding this note.

Although these aren’t to my taste, everyone I gave them to disagree with me!

I will make them again as treats to give away.

Sorry. These are a big pass for me. Partly my fault. I was hoping for more of a cheesecakey type thing.
I am not a fan of super sugary sweet desserts.
I like Oreos. This recipe makes them sweeter. The cream cheese adds very little to the flavour.
Dipping them in chocolate is just over the top.
Again, this is my mistake. I was expecting the cream cheese to tone down the sweetness.
But once I saw the cookie crumbs to cream cheese ratio I knew I made a mistake.

The recipe is easy. The video doesn’t work, maybe a geoblocking issue.
These are probably amazing for people who like super duper sweet things.

In reply to Laney May. What kind of chocolate are you using? And do you mean after you take them out of the fridge and let them sit at room temperature the chocolate starts to get soft? Or it won't harden at all in the fridge?

After dipping my Oreo balls and putting them in the fridge/freezer my chocolate will not harden on the outside. It’s gooey to the touch. Any recommendations??

Both adult children request this for the dessert of their choice on their birthdays. Fun to make and pretty, not to mention sinfully delicious.
