I just retired and have been doing some cooking but your scones were my first baking attempt.  Everyone loved them! First try!
YOU not only have a great recipe but EXCELLENT instructions and “tips”.
Your tips really made the difference.  I will be trying more of YOUR recipes.
THANK YOU

I made scones a lot. Many different versions and recipes. This scone was the absolute best I have ever made. I followed the recipe exactly and as per the variation added one cup of blueberries. My husband swears the best “Scone” part I have ever made. Delicious.

I would recommend waiting to bake them until the day of the baby shower so they taste fresh. You can make them the night before, cover tightly, refrigerate them, then bake the next day.

Or you can prep them further in advance and freeze them. You can either thaw them overnight in the fridge and bake as directed or bake them from frozen and add a few extra minutes to the baking time. If you bake them from frozen and they start to brown too much on top before they’re done, just cover them with a piece of foil until they’re fully baked through.

Quick, easy and delicious. I made these at high altitude and they came out great.
