Yes, it will still come out the same. I just don’t recommend adding too much liquid food coloring because it can thin it out. Gel food coloring would be the best option!

Sometimes, when you add food coloring to buttercream, etc. it tends to make it look grainy. I know this is whipped so it may be different! I have used this recipe for 2 years now & I absolutely love it!

You can top your cheesecake further ahead of time if you need to and it will hold up fine.

So if I make the cheesecakes well ahead of time I’ll know to make this basically just before going out the door lol…make it, top them and go!

I think that would be fine. You could use my stabilized whipped cream recipe here and just omit the powdered sugar. There’s not really a maximum amount of cream that you can whip, just keep in mind that it will double in volume.

Can you stabilize the already sweetened cream? And, what do think the maximum amount of cream is that you can whip at one time? In other words, does it have to be made in small batches, like 2-3 cups of cream at a time, or doesn’t it matter? Thank you!

I’ve made this a few times with a a box of lemon instant pudding (3.4 oz) whipped into 2 cups of heavy cream to add to cheesecake. So decadent!
