First time making these. My oven is not big enough to hold two cookie sheets at once. Will the second sheet pan with 8 on it be ok on the counter waiting for the first one to bake?

In reply to CL. Either way is fine, but I use cold butter. You will be melting it, so it won't make a difference.

In reply to Norma. As soon as u remove them, use a toothpick to poke a hole in bottom n lay them on their side. It lets then steam release/vent allowing them to keep their shape while cooling

In reply to Norma. Sorry they didn't turn out well for you, Norma. Did you open your oven door at all while they were baking? And have you checked your oven temperature with an an oven thermometer?

I tried this recipe but at the point where I take out from oven after 30 minutes , they started deflating . They looked fine before that but failed when took out to cut open
